Here are five easy ways you can utilize to gain high quality inbound links to your website.
Guest Blog – Many internet marketing blogs are always looking for guest bloggers to post on their site. They appreciate fresh views on internet marketing topics plus the exposure they you help with by promoting their website through your social media profiles.
The benefit of guest blogging is the fact you are able to write a short bio at the end of your post summing up your experience and posting links back to your company’s website and your personal blog or website. If you are looking for places to guest blog – check out MyGuestBlog Forum. A great community created by Ann Smarty to help bloggers and blogs find each other.
Piss Someone Off– Though some people hate on “link bait” it does cause quite a few sites to link back to a controversial post or site. I am not advocating smeering anyone in your industry or taking cheap shots but expressing your point of view on a subject within your industry that other may not agree with is ok. If the post gains some traction you could end up with quite a few replies, comments and inbound links.
Be Active In Social Media – don’t just tweet every time you write a new post, interact with other bloggers or companies in your industry. Build relationships; comment on their blog posts and eventually these relationships will blossom. If you are writing quality content your new “friends” could end up posting a link to your site on their blog, blogging about how your company is using social media the correct way. The more people that become familiar with your company or blog the more potential link partners available.
Press Releases – Hire a new CEO? Launch a new product? Create a new blog? Simply write up a press release stating the announcement and submit your press release to sites such as PRWire. Depending on the site you may be able to place links within the text and also at the end of the press release. Hopefully your press release will get picked up by other news website and create a plethora of inbound links.
Article Submission – Similar to creating a press release there are sites that let you submit an article you have written that will include links in the footer. You can easily write up a short blog post or article about your industry and submit it to these sites. Make sure to use the proper anchor text for the links within the footer.
An additional way you can also build links is by using a linkbuilding tool. If you are looking for a tool to help you build links check out this one, I highly recommend it: Linkbuilding Tool

I’m just getting into SEO work, but I have found social media very helpful. I was surprised how many people will contact you for links.
I’m not sure if it’s just my browser but I think your layout is messed out Justin. Well anyway, these tips are really helpful. I agree about pissing someone, or more of contradicting in a good way. Because after all, we tend to check on someone’s progress if we hate them, right? lol Seriously, we should try interacting more to get more links and even friends on the process.
Your tips are simple but effective. My blog is new, and inbound links are very important.
A new blog needs to be promoted effectively, and inbound links play an important role in that.
